Marble Dust
Adapted for artists, designers, art-teachers, creatives of all kind and kids
Painting with my fingers on large window or mirror surface, has been part of my artistic vocabulary for the last few years.
One of the things I noticed is that in the end of each performance, everyone just want to touch it. Weather a mayor in an official event, or school kids in a public library, this majestically alluring material is like magnet.
Overtime I started letting the public draw over my work in the end of my performances, with time I ended up giving special workshops with marble dust.
Now you can enjoy this easy fun creative display yourself.
what is marble dust ?
Marble dust is a white chalk-based powder from quarries near Paris, France. It is composed of calcium carbonate (90%) and clay.
Traditionally Marble dust was used as a maintenance product: it shines surfaces such as copper, silverware, glass.
It also serves to fully whiten store windows during a period of renovation, or decorate during the Christmas holidays.
Weather you are a professional creative or a creative guide for children, the rules of this activity are the same.
protect the floor.
Mix the powder with water to get a milky texture.
Use a roller to roll it over a window or a mirror.
Wait few min. the length varies depending on the room temperature and humidity.

For cleaning i recommend dry cleaning first using a vacuum cleaner.
